If not, set it so. I really can’t find what’s causing this issue. I should have mentioned, speedfan does work and shows the CPU temps. Glad to see someone still using the intel dp35dp board, I strongly think that the sound drivers are causing the problem. It may be the SigmaTel.

I’ve upgraded to Windows 7 and I cannot get the sound to work from the rear jacks front jacks are fine. I really can’t find what’s causing this issue.
I’m not using the integrated SigmaTel audio. This problem came only after the upgrade to win7 because i used win vista with firefox and other software with no issue like this and I even reinstalled vista to make sure and i didn’t had that problem there but upgraded again as vista felt slow and had loads of updates to complete.
Dp35p there and thanks for the fast reply! If not, set it so. Anybody have an idea why?

Similar help and support threads. For me it is. Every time I load a page or open a new window it makes my sound go in a slow motion style.
Getting used soubd this new OS was very fun but after all that stuff, I had problems due to Intel because it didn’t release all the new drivers needed for the OS bloody hell!? We also provide an extensive Windows 7 tutorial section that covers a wide range of tips and tricks. The problem is that win7 isn’t officially supported as such on this board so intel never dp53dp a driver. I replaced the video card, PSU, etc and still have the sonud It only seems to play when i use Firefox opening tabs, scrolling, webpage loading and paint scrolling d;35dp no issue on IE or any other software.
Perhaps it’s a lack of RAM, I don’t know. Oh, and my sound is SigmaTel. It seems to work fine for me. The high pitched sound was more louder after installing the driver on win7 but i had no issues in vista so I rolled-back to the previous driver, I hope that intel releases new drivers cuz i like this board and it’s the best one from intel I purchased.
No sound drivers for DP35DP for Windows 7 64 bit
I’ve had so much woe with this mobo that I’m even tempted to buy a brand new one I started the cpu with all fans off except the PSU and proceesor fan but I cleaned them and still have that issue It’s not sounf hardware fault. Yup, dp35p panel jacks work, and yes, I considered cutting my losses and just using those, but I want to persist to see if I can get the rear working.
Now, on to the problem, Im having this weird sound issue which basically comes from both the CPU and my headphones that I constantly wear. Thanks for the reply!
i need a sound driver for my intel DP35DP motherboard? – Archive – InsanelyMac Forum
As for the headphones problem, It was caused by a bad front-panel and it had a little short-circuit on the sounx port and when plugging anything on it caused the noise. It doesn’t do it straight away when I boot up windows, it just randomly starts a few This makes efficient power consumption and reducing heat, that seemed a good technology but it caused considerable problems for me.
