Bootcamp firewire drivers under XP?
Since new Macs no longer have the Firewire ports, continued use of the Fireface with a new Mac would require a Thunderbolt-to-Firewire adaptor. I currently use a Fireface with a MacBook Pro version 3.

Frank, sorry for not getting back to you earlier. Firewire connections are still comparatively scarce on desktop PCs except Apple machines but they are becoming quite common on laptops and again it is Apple that is leading the way.

Firewire would have been the ideal system to bring all of bootcxmp technologies together, but the plans were scuppered by fears that it would be used to create high-quality digital clones of copyright audio and video material.
